Jhandi Burja Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy covers Jhandi Burja (also known as Langur Burja), the Nepali six-dice game published by Can You Games. It applies to the Android app distributed on Google Play under the package name com.canyougames.jhandiburja.
The short version: Jhandi Burja collects nothing. It has no accounts, no ads SDK, no analytics, and no server. The app does not even ask Android for internet access, so it has no way to send anything off your device. Your coins, stats and settings are saved in a file on your phone and stay there.
Google Play Data safety summary
For anyone cross-checking this policy against the Data safety section of the Google Play listing:
- Data collected: none.
- Data shared with third parties: none.
- Game progress: stored on your device only, never transmitted anywhere.
- Deletion: uninstalling the app or clearing its storage erases everything it saved.
What the game saves on your device
Jhandi Burja keeps one save file, save.json, in its private app storage, the sandboxed directory Android gives every app, which no other app can read. While writing, it briefly uses save.json.tmp and keeps one previous copy as save.json.bak, so a crash mid-save cannot wipe your progress. The file holds:
- Your coin balance, experience and level, and daily-bonus streak.
- Timers for the free spin, scratch card and free-coin refill.
- Unlocked and equipped dice, boards and themes, and achievements.
- Play statistics: rounds, wins and losses, biggest win, and up to the last 100 rolls.
- Settings: sound, music and vibration on or off, and your last table setup, including any player names typed in for pass-and-play.
Player names are whatever you type, are used only to label turns on the table, and never leave the device. There is no device identifier, location or contact information in the file.
The Android build is packaged with automatic backup disabled (allowBackup="false"), so the save is not copied to Google Drive or moved to a new phone. Progress lives on one device, and deleting the app deletes it.
Permissions
The app declares one permission, VIBRATE, used for the short buzz when the dice land. You can turn it off in the game’s settings. It does not declare INTERNET, so Android blocks every network request the app could make. It reads no advertising ID, and there is no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notification permission.
Ads, coins, and in-app purchases
The “Watch ad” buttons in the current version play a short in-game countdown, not a real advertisement. No ad network is contacted and no ad data is collected.
Coins are play money. They are earned by playing, from daily bonuses and the free spin, and cannot be bought with real money, withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for anything outside the game. There are no in-app purchases.
Other players
Every opponent at the table is either a computer-controlled bot or a friend playing on the same phone. Leaderboards rank the players at that table only. There is no online play, chat, or global ranking, and nothing about your games is shared with other people.
What we don’t collect
- No account, sign-in, email address, or username.
- No name, phone number, address, or payment information.
- No location, precise or approximate.
- No advertising ID or other device identifier.
- No analytics or telemetry: no event tracking, no session recording, no crash-reporting SDK.
- No sale or sharing of personal information, because there is none.
Children’s privacy
Jhandi Burja is a traditional betting-style dice game played with play money. It is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The app collects no personal information from anyone, children included. If you are a parent with questions, email [email protected].
What Google Play collects
Separately from the game, Google Play collects data when you download or update any app: install and uninstall events, device model, crash traces the operating system reports, and whatever else Google’s policies describe. We see only aggregate, anonymised versions of some of this in the Play Console. That collection is Google’s, governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and outside our control.
Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and equivalents)
We hold no personal data about Jhandi Burja players, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or export. To delete what the game saved on your phone, uninstall it, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Jhandi Burja → Storage → Clear data. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority at any time.
Security
There is no player database to breach and no password to steal. The app is signed with a private release key and distributed through Google Play, which verifies package integrity on install. If you find anything that contradicts this page, such as network traffic from the app or data written where it should not be, report it to [email protected] with reproduction steps.
Changes to this policy
If Jhandi Burja’s data practices change, for example real rewarded ads, online play, cloud saves, or in-app purchases, this page will be updated before the version that introduces the change is released, and the “last updated” date at the top will move. Material changes will be described explicitly rather than folded silently into existing text.
